Obituary of Carol Lee Casseday

Carol Lee Casseday, age 77 of Boothwyn, PA died on January 27, 2016. Born to the late Gerald & Virginia Young Green in Battlecreek, NE, she was raised in Linwood, PA. Carol resided in Boothwyn recently, however she previously resided in Chadds Ford for many years. In her early years, she worked at Bell Telephone. She then cared for her children and later worked for the VA Hospital in Philadelphia. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed her family and gardening. She was a member of the Marcus Hook Baptist Church and she also sang in the church choir. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dale F. Casseday who died in 2011, a sister, Cheryl Morelli and a brother, Thomas Green Sr. She is survived by 3 children, Cheryl A. (Steve) Phillips, Virginia Casseday and Thomas Green Jr ; a sister, Marilyn Ross, a brother, Gerald Green, 2 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, 11:00AM, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 10-11AM. Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA
