Obituary of Roger S. Nickle

Roger S. Nickle Sr., age 85 of Claymont, DE died on May 26, 2016. Born to the late Wesley & Lillian Snyder Nickle, he was raised in Linwood, PA. Roger served in the Army during the Korean War and afterwards was employed by Scott Paper for 40 years retiring in 1995. He was a resident of Claymont since 1963. His hobbies included fishing and also feeding birds which he considered his pets. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Ronald Nickle and 2 brothers, Ronald & Wesley Nickle. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Audrey Clough Nickle, a son Roger Nickle Jr., sister, Jean Lupoli, 3 grandchildren, Jason, Robbie, & Chris, and 2 great grandchildren, Joey & Mollie. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 10:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 9-10AM. Interment Lawn Croft Mausoleum, Linwood, PA
