Obituary of James C. Jones

James C. Jones, age 88 of Glen Mills, PA died on February 3, 2016 at Arden Courts, Wilm., DE. Born to the late James and Florence Jones in Darby, PA, He was raised in Collingdale, PA attending Collingdale High School, class of 1946. Jim was a resident of the Fox Hill Farms community for 11 years and previously a longtime resident of Wilmington, DE. After serving in the Army during WWII, he was employed by Dupont Co. & Ciba-Geigy as a supervisor for many years retiring in 1988. He was a devoted husband, father & grandfather and his passion was his family. An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, he also enjoyed woodworking, gardening, crabbing and caring for his lawn & pool. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Elsie Jones who died in 2002, son, James Jones who died as an infant, and his brother, Roland Jones. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jean C. Crozier Jones (nee) Hibshman, children, William (Joyce) Jones, Carl (Jeanne) Jones & Karen (Patrick) Bredbenner, stepchildren, Linda (Frank) Ferrara, Diane (Jim) Wolintos & James (Janice) Crozier, sisters, Marion Weightman, Helen Mozer & Flossie Anderson, grandchildren, Kelli (Bobby), Kristin (Charles), Jimmy, Zachary , Kelsie & Patrick and great grandchildren, Denarra, Michalla, Sebastian & Giovanni. A viewing will be held on Saturday, 9-10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 10AM. Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
