Obituary of Eleanor Hammond

Eleanor Hammond, age 88 of Boothwyn, PA died on June 12, 2016 at the Wallingford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born to Granville & Ussie Jeanette Julian Martinson in Layfayette, Indiana, she has resided the past 10 years in Lutheran Knolls, previously residing in Chester, PA. Eleanor retired from the Townhouse restaurant in Media, PA after 26 years, previously she worked at Scott Paper. In her earlier years, she was an avid bowler. Eleanor enjoyed her family & home. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Hammond who died in 1962 and a son, James Hammond Jr. who died in 1979. She is survived by 2 children, Bruce Hammond & Patricia (George) Grier, brother, Thomas Martinson, sister, Jane Buss, 2 granddaughters, Theresa Renee Grier & Christina Lorraine Grier and a great granddaughter, September Renee Grier. Her funeral will be held on Monday, 10:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 9-10AM . Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
