At this time our hearts are heavy with the loss of our Uncle, who was truly a good man. I have so many fond memories of Richard growing up into adulthood. I remember going to my grandmothers on Sunday and he would always wrestle with us on the floor and we would jump all over him. He was such a great sport about it too. And then when he use to work part time in the store around the corner, grandpop would tell us to go around the corner and visit Uncle Richard and we did and he would always give us a little treat to eat or take home with us too. He was always a happy person too. I don't think I ever saw him get angry. We will miss him very much and although Uncle Richard lost his battle on Tuesday evening, I will always remember him with the big smile on his face and happiness in his heart, always kind and willing to help those around him. Again you were loved very much by so many and yes, we will miss you. Rest in Peace for you are with God now.
