Dear Cindy & King Family
We were so sorry to hear about Harry. We only have wonderful memories of Harry and his family. I can still see him smiling and waving to us on his Harley coming back from Sunrise on a Saturday trip with Cindy. He was always cheerful, friendly, helpful and full of thoughtfullness and love to everyone around him.
We know what a treasure he was to us and all in the extended King family.
He will be missed
Harry thanks for all the stories and history you gave us of the Chadds Ford area and the Delaware Valley being new comers from New England.
(We did see the movie 'at close range' ) thanks to you.
We owe you a debt we cannot repay - your friendship.
God Bless
Sean & Vicki McEnroe

Dale and I are so sorry to learn of Harry's passing. Harry and I were best buds in High School. He would pick me up in the morning when I was waiting for the bus at Conservatory Rd & Rte 926 and give me a ride home just about every day in that really neat T-Bird! My Dad didn't like it, so Harry stopped in one Saturday at the house and sat down in the kitchen and talked w/Mom & Dad and got permission to give me the ride! Thru him I was included in all the parties, particularly the ones he hosted at Smedleys. As someone else said here, he could be a bit intimidating but he was just a big teddy bear! We connected again when Harry IV and my son played football together at UHS and we were involved with the Quarterback Club. Enjoyed seeing him and Cyndy at our 45th Reunion. I'm unable to come to the services so wanted to be sure to write something here. Harry was a GREAT guy and will be missed by all. Hugs & prayers to you and the family.

So very sorry to hear about Harry's passing. He was a good man who I knew for 55 years, growing up in Chadds Ford and riding the same school bus when we were young. My condolences to all of his family. Rest in peace big guy...

I got to know Harry from working at an auto parts store. At first I was scared if him but after a couple months realized he's just a big teddy bear. He was such a great guy to get to know over the years. He was always the one person I looked forward to seeing and hear from because the stories he would always tell me. I haven't seen or talked to him for months now. I will always remember the last time I saw him and his mustang. Was overall an awesome person. Rest Easy Harry King

I didn’t know Harry all that long, as I met him a few years ago at our monthly men’s night in Kennett Square and West Chester. I always looked forward to saying hello and talking with Harry, as he was always upbeat and extremely personable. I’m going to miss Harry and his sense of humor and humility. Unfortunately (because of Army duty) I will not be able to attend the ceremony, which I would’ve. Please accept my warmest condolences to the family and friends of this great guy from my hometown Chadds Ford.
