I first got to know Linda when she and mom worked together at Oliver's in the Holiday Inn (Newark). Along with Becky Tinnerello (who passed in 2014 of cancer) they became known as the three amigos, friendship bonds that continued beyond Oliver's closure. Then in 2008 Linda moved in with mom, and became such an extended part of our family. There were few family events and gatherings that Linda was not a part of. A major highlight was an "Elvis" trip that me, mom, Linda and Becky took to Memphis in 2009. Can't begin tell you how much fun we all had on this trip...as Linda would say "Elvis was everywhere." Linda's sudden passing has left a huge hole in our hearts, as it has with anyone who knew and loved her...especially her children, grandchildren, sisters and entire family. Linda will be forever remembered for being "genuinely" good-hearted, kind, caring, thoughtful, oh so humorous, and authentic. The hardest days are yet to come for mom and our family as we come to the realization that Linda is not just away with family and friends...family and friends who are painfully struggling with this sudden and totally unexpected loss that no one saw coming. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to you Jennie, Laurie and Bobby, grandchildren, sisters, family and friends. You are wrapped in our family's love, hugs, thoughts and prayers. One of my favorites when suffering a loss of this magnitude: "Those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on. Cherished memories never fade because one loved is gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there's a memory they live on in our heart."
