Obituary of Alice E. Mezger

Alice E. Mezger, age 93 of Upper Chichester, PA died on June 17, 2016 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Wilmington, DE. She was born to the late Albert & Alice Frei in Carlstadt, NJ. Alice was a lifelong resident of Carlstadt before residing with her son Jim and family in Upper Chichester, PA. A homemaker, she also worked with her husband in their business, Albert Frei Embroidery, for many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Carlstadt and the Senior Friendship Club. Alice enjoyed reading, cooking, embroidery and puzzles, however most of all, spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Mezger who died in 2010. Alice is survived by 3 children, Ernest (Kathleen) Mezger Jr., James (Kathleen) Mezger & Richard (Karen) Mezger, 5 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.
