Obituary of Estherine L. Craig
Estherine Lauren Craig, 92, died peacefully at home on May 8, 2020, with her family by her side.
She was born in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia on November 17, 1927 to Sylvestro and Rosa Pirone. She was a graduate of Overbrook High School, received her business and accounting certificate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and was a licensed realtor as well as beloved homemaker. She lived in Aston, PA for 55 years and was an active member of Resurrection Episcopal Church in Rockdale, PA. She enjoyed quality time with her family, playing bridge with her friends, and baking Italian cookies around the holidays. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gaynor Craig. Estherine is survived by her daughters, Deborah Craig and Pamela Woods (Dave), and three grandchildren Megan McMahon (Justin), Gregory Woods, and Brennan Woods. A private service will take place at Pagano Funeral Home in Garnet Valley, PA on Saturday, May 16, 2020. For the health and safety of the community, the family welcomes you to a drive-thru viewing from 10:30-11:15 a.m. at Pagano Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately at Arlington Cemetery.
