My mother, my friend, my confidant, my advisor, my mentor, my rock. My sweet, kind, patient, and most loving mother. My heart is breaking because I miss you so much. But I am glad that you are finally out of pain and suffering. Three long years and not once did you complain. You were so brave. I am sorry you had to live with all of those caretakers. I know it was hard. I'll miss our conversations, solving the world's problems, traveling and watching movies. I find myself asking who am I if the ones I love are gone. They are who made me into the person I am. I love you.

This is so hard!!! Aunt Mimi had such a gentle heart and was a true fighter her last 2 years with her battle of cancer. I learned so much from her and my Uncle Nick. She always put her family first and I'm so grateful for all the typed pages she spent time on, sharing the history and quirks of the family. She was always cutting out articles and sending little note cards to me. She was a mix of Rose & Sofia from Golden Girls. She was an angel on earth and now an angel to watch over us!! I'm truly going to miss her, and it's given me a lot of time to reflect on things in my own life! I love & miss you already Aunt Mimi.
