Obituary of Ernest G. Carlow

Ernest G. "Ed" Carlow, age 60 of Middleburg, FL passed away on April 21, 2020 in Orange Park, FL. Born in Somers Point, NJ and raised in Claymont, DE, he had resided in Claymont and Bethel Twp before living in Florida for the past 26 years. Ed was the son of Howard G. and Mary E. Plottner Carlow. He graduated from Claymont High School, Class of 1958 and received his Associates Degree from Spring Garden Institute of Philadelphia. He was a veteran of the Delaware Air National Guard. In his early years, he enjoyed bowling, was an avid pool player, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Ed attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Orange Park, FL. He is suvived by his wife, Gail E. Weller Carlow; his daughter, Kimberly (Chuck) Hamrick; his two grandchildren, Katlyn and Kyle Hamrick; and his sister, Mary Finnochiaro. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
