Obituary of Harry Richard Nickson Jr.

Harry "Bud" R. Nickson Jr., age 72 of Boothwyn, PA passed away peacefully on August 24, 2020 at his home. Born to the late Harry R. Sr. and Dorothy E. Firlein Nickson in Chester, PA, he resided the past 40 years in Boothwyn. A diesel mechanic by trade, Bud retired from Penske Truck Leasing in Aston. His passion was his family, spending time with his children and grandchildren, riding his Harley Davidson and reading. He served in the Army as a Heavy Equipment technician during the Vietnam era , spending 3 years in Germany. In addition to his parents, Bud is preceded in death by 2 sisters and his son, Ryan J. Nickson who passed in 2011. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Sharleen Bavis Nickson, 2 children, Michael (Colleen) Nickson and Kelly (Eric) Sharier, 6 grandchildren, Eric Jr., Kacie, Gavin, Kourtney, Cooper and Kadence, and a large family of siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, from 9:30-11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral service at 11AM.
