Denise, Ali and Lauren our prayers are with you on this your unexpected loss. Jack and I worked together for many years at UPS. I know for sure that Jack was gifted by God to lift so many of us mortals to a higher playing field when it came to grammatical expression.Jack gave us an insight into how we should all be positive, enthusiastic and persistent in all we write, talk and walk in our daily lives. Jack had a very humbling and honest way of of making us visualize and analyze the English vocabulary in a spirited and honest way. Jack knew he was gifted by God and used that gift to help so many of us along the way both on the job and in general life. I know even as I write this epitaph about a great friend and human being he would say "Bruce you may want to phrase it like this". Jack I light this candle for you and your wonderful family for those great memories that will never burn out.

I was so shocked when I heard the news a short while ago about Jack's sudden passing. Back in the late 80's and early 90's I was a partner with John August and Pat Toman in a media producttion company called Image Techniques located in Wilmington DE. Through Jack, the Philadelphia UPS office became one of clients. Over the years Jack became much more than a client, he became a close friend who was great fun to be around. I last saw Jack this past spring at a memorial service for my old business partner and close friend John "The Bomber" August. Jack hadn't changed much and we talked about the good old days of working together as well as what had changed in our lives over the years. Jack, my old friend, you will be greatly missed. My condolenses to your wife, children and family, I can easily imagine how your loss will be such a terrible blow to take. Rest in piece my friend, you have left a long and warm legacy for your family and friends to remember for many years to come. Until me meet again... Barry

It is with great sorrow that I light this candle but I light it with the belief and hope that the flame that burns will be a light that keeps his memory alive for those who loved him the most. RIP Jack.
