Obituary of Marion Rose Gurt

Marion Rose Gurt, age 91, of Claymont, DE passed away on September 25, 2020 at Sunrise of Wilmington. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, a daughter of George and AnnaMay Parker Fenton. She had resided in Southwest Philadelphia and New Jersey for several years. In addition to her late parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Gurt, first husband George Piacentini, and second husband James Brown, and her sisters, Mildred Hepner and Annamay Lafitt. Marion is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Chili and Eleanor Whissen; two sons, James and Robert Brown; and her three grandchildren, Jeffrey Whissen, Chris and Morgan Chili.
