Obituary of Herbert Osborne

Herbert Osborne, age 93 of Wilmington, DE passed on October 23, 2020 at home. Born to the late Frank and Bertha May Burris Osborne, in Independence, VA and raised in Chadds Ford. Herbert resided for the past 58 years in Wilmington, DE. A self employed landscaper, Herbert retired in 1988 after selling his business, he also worked at Brandywine Golf Course. He was a member of Upland Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking. In addition to his parents, Herbert is preceded in death by his former wife Cecelia Markmann, and his second wife, June Osborne. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Florence A. Chambers Crowe Osborne, daughter, Terry Osborne, half sister, Earsie Schleifer and half brother Randy Osborne. A visitation will be held on Friday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM . Interment will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Donations in his memory may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
