Obituary of Harry D. Taylor

Harry D. Taylor, Sr., age 80, of Lewes, DE passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Beebe Hospital, Lewes, DE. Born in Welsh, WV and raised in Rural Retreat, VA, he was the son of Ira and Irene Frye Taylor. He had resided in Lewes, DE for the past 15 years and previously had been a long time resident of Trainer, PA. Harry worked in the maintenance department for Riddle Hospital for over 25 years retiring in 2005 and had been a Merchant Marine for Sun Oil.  He enjoyed riding his tractor as well as watching the Hallmark Channel. Harry loved listening to music. He enjoyed spending time with his wife. He loved to talk and made people laugh. Harry was loved by everyone with his colorful personality.  In addition to his late parents, he is preceded in death by his four siblings.  Harry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kathryn H. Harrison Taylor; his three children, Harry D. (Theresa) Taylor, Jr., Michael T. Taylor and Sharon M. Bailey; his seven grandchildren, Julian, Valerie, Danielle, Stephanie, Teri, Nicholas, and Nicole; his three great grandchildren, Summer, Dillon and Savannah.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th, from 12 noon - 1PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral service at 1 PM.  Interment will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.  Online condolences may be made by visiting (www.paganofuneralhome.com).
