Obituary of Frank Carl Rasch

Frank C. Rasch, age 80, of Boothwyn, PA passed away on November 5, 2020 at Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville, PA. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio to Lester and Lucille Summers Rasch. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked in the distribution department of the US Post Office for 22 years, retiring in 1998.  Frank previously worked for Domino Sugar. He was a longtime member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church parish and belonged to the American Postal Workers Union. Frank was an avid reader and loved mystery novels. He liked going out to eat, especially chinese food and enjoyed traveling with his wife to Alaska, Las Vegas, Branson, Missouri, and going to the casinos. Frank was a sports fan and cheered for the Philadelphia Phillies. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and his beloved dachshund dogs. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 59 years, Teresa M. Purul Rasch, his two daughters; Karen (Vince) Mullen and Terri (Peter) Scannapieco, his four grandchildren; Lauren, Peter and Nicholas Scannapieco and Tara Mullen. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment will be private.
