Dear Diane, Dinah and Family, I regret not being there with you at this time. However my thoughts and prayers are with you now and going forward. The upside is that your father is at peace, with his wife Irene. You have a life of memories to help you along after John's passing. As he and you have requested, I will send along a donation to Wounded Warriors in his name. I pray for God's presence in your lives and the comfort of knowing John is with God.

I knew John for over 35 years. In fact he was one of the first people that welcomed me to church when I first moved into the area. I will miss his warm smile, I can remember when we started doing a church bonfire and hayride at his house. I'll miss the conversations of how difficult it was to work on modern cars and the finer points of the skills needed to be a mechanic. I'll miss his contributions to Sabbath School classes over the years. To Dinah and Diane, I can tell you from personal experience that the loss of a father will leave a hole in your life that never will completely fill. Cherish your memories of him and pass them on to the next generation. We also know that death is but a temporary rest and that one day, hopefully soon, we will all meet again in a place where death is no more. Our sincere condolences, Charlie and Sierra Koerting
