Obituary of George Thomas Eddingfield

George Thomas Eddingfield, age 73, a lifelong resident of Wilmington, DE died on December 4, 2020 peacefully at home. Born to Roy Roland and Catherine Sylvania Cortese Eddingfield in Wilmington, DE. He was an accountant for over 40 years retiring from Delfi Management Company. George loved horse racing, betting, watching college football, playing cards, especially pinochle, playing board games, especially Scrabble; he also loved spending time talking on the phone with his sisters. George loved his family more than anything. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Eddingfield and sister, Patricia (Francis) Iorii. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ellen (Herb) White, Alice K (Mark) Mills, Sr. A memorial service will remain private to the family at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, Pa.
