Obituary of Wayne R. Moyer

Wayne R. Moyer, age 63 of Newark, DE passed away suddenly on December 20, 2020 at Christiana Hospital. Wayne was born & raised in Chester, PA to Budd R. & Ann Burns Moyer. He graduated from St. James High School, class of 1976. Wayne has resided in Newark, DE for over 20 years, previously residing in North Wilmington, DE. He retired from the Philadelphia Navy Yard where he was a Boiler Maker. Wayne was a very patriotic man, and an avid supporter of President Trump. He enjoyed the mountains, fishing and had a great respect for animals. Wayne was known for his giving and selfless ways and cherished time spent with his siblings, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Cooke Moyer. Wayne is survived by his 6 siblings, Bonnie Davis, Kathleen (John) Fanelli, Mary Larsen, George Moyer, Roseann Hazirci and David (Tracy) Moyer and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on December 30, Wednesday, 1-2PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by a memorial Service at 2PM.
