Mike's passing hit me very hard, I was really hoping that he would have beat this, as I don't know anyone stronger them him. I remember the first time I met him. It was when I had meetings at CA headquarters, he had been added to the account to help keep it on track. First time I met him, he looked at me and asked, "Who's Dildar?," "I am" I answered, and nest he stated "Do go anywhere I want to have a long talk with you." The manner in which he stated this carried authority and the seriousness of the conversation. Although I was terrified of this conversation, little did I know that Mike and his approach would have such an impact on my life. For the next 3 years Mike and I worked together in NJ, with his guidance I was able to make it from Senior Consultant to Architect, and with his connections, I was able to take the architecture training for CA in Barcelona, Spain, again something that was unheard of for a North American consultant to be able to do.
Mike was able to do things and get things done when others couldn't fathom a solution. He worked tirelessly and always supported his team. He always went to bat for our team whenever there was an issue and covered for us when needed. You could always count on him to be there at a moments notice or with a call. He also had a love for his family and spoke to us fondly about it. He was always proud of his kids.
My favorite times with him was cracking jokes at one of the restaurants that we would have lunch at. All the times we would get lost on the way back to the office, or making fun of each other during these trips. Those were truly the best times of my life and I feel very fortunate that I was able to share them with Mike.
I have learned a lot from Mike on how to carry myself and respect others as he did. I will truly miss him, I know he is up there looking at us and rooting for all of our continued success. Rest in Peace my dear friend, you were truly an wonderful soul that touched many in your life. We all thank you.
