Obituary of Louis A Godoy

Louis A. Godoy, age 73 of Boothwyn, PA died on August 18, 2016 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born to the late Facundo & Emilia Godoy in Madrid, Spain, Louis immigrated to the United States in 1968. He was a longtime resident of Mount Holly, NJ before moving to Boothwyn, PA 15 years ago. Louis was previously employed by Southco and Magnetic Metals as a Tool & Die Maker. He was very creative and would often "invent" his own tools and gadgets. He also was a novice artist and enjoyed drawing. Being from Spain, he always rooted for Real Madrid Futbol and was proud to be a "madrile ño". He was also a proud and diehard Eagles and Flyers fan. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Angeles Escribano Godoy, 2 sons, Adam Godoy and his wife Kelly & John Godoy. He is also survived by 3 grandsons that he adored, Owen, Griffin & Wesley Godoy. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, 11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 10-11AM. Interment Private. Donations in his memory may be made to Leukemia Society (www.lls.org).
