Obituary of James E Woolaver, Jr.

James E. Woolaver, Jr, age 50, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Season's Hospice at Wilmington Hospital. James was born, raised and lived his whole life in Wilmington, DE as the son of Dorothy Woolaver and James E. Woolaver, Sr. He was a sales associate with Dicks Sporting Goods for over 20 years specializing in the gun and fishing departments. Jim enjoyed working on his truck and was a fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. #3. He was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Woolaver, Sr. Jim is survived by his mother, Dorothy Davis Woolaver; his aunts, Josie (Toby) Palumbaro, Babs Davis, Sandy (Jim) McGinn; his uncles, Richard (Roman Staniak) Davis and Francis (Debbie) Davis; his cousin, Stepanie (Jason) Jankovich; Beth (Ben) Goudy and numerous cousins; his best friend, Chris McKewon; and his pet dogs, Mork and Nik. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 12:30PM to 1:30PM at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342 followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:30 PM.
