Obituary of Kenneth L. Moccia
Kenneth L. Moccia, 62, of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away suddenly on April 17, 2021 at home. Born in Chester, PA, he lived in Garnet Valley for the past 10 years. He previously resided in Brookhaven, PA.
Ken proudly served in the Army during peacetime in both active duty and in the Army Reserves. While in the Army Reserves, he earned a degree in nursing from The Delaware County Technical School. In 2017, Ken retired from Kimberly Clark after 40 years of employment. He was currently employed by Longwood Gardens, where he enjoyed working for the past five years. He loved the beach, boating, and traveling.
He is preceded in death by his father, John L. Moccia. Ken is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Moccia (Grogan), and his devoted daughters, Janet (Christopher) Babic and Jodie (Brock) Westhoff. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Barbara Moccia, and her partner, Louis Sclafani, as well as his brother, John Moccia. He is also survived by his four beloved grandchildren, Quenton & Kassee Westhoff and Kenny & Virginia Babic, and his loyal furry friend, Baby.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 9:30 - 11 a.m. at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Interment will remain private.
