Obituary of Ruth E. Sparks

Ruth E. Sparks, age 78, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Born to Earl and Virginia Wanner Fullerton in Chester, PA, she resided in Wilmington, DE for the past 50 years. She was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1961. Prior to becoming ill in 2011, Ruth had enjoyed working as an Avon Representative for 13 years. She was devoted to her whole family, including her pets. In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, James T. Sparks, who passed in 2011, her brother, Earl "Bill" Fullerton, and her sister, Janet Hinderhofer. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra E. Sparks, her stepson, James T. (Arlene) Sparks, Jr., her stepdaughter, Diana (Joseph) Roupp, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sister, Virginia "Ginny" Wright, and many other family members and friends. Ruth was gracefully interred in Lawn Croft Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to your local animal rescue.
