I am truly sorry for your loss. When I started at GVHS in 1996, as a young teacher, Mr. Manley was always so kind and encouraging. Even with everything he had to do, he always took time out of his busy schedule to see if we needed anything and/or to say "Hi." He really made GVHS feel more like a family than just a high school. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So many good memories of Fireman Bill. His love of all kids and really all people was infectious. His legacy and the lives he effected will live on forever. His love for his Patti, his girls, son in law and grandchildren is something that a lot of people aren't as fortunate to feel. Rest easy, Mr. Bill. A life well lived. ❤

To each family member my heart goes out to you i know your hearts are breaking but i know he will never leave you, I want to thank all of you for sharing him with us, I was blessed to have all those years working with him. The one thing we all know is his girls meant the world to him. He was a great friend and mentor to people of all ages and would be there any day any time you needed him often with Patty by his side. The one thing that impressed me and melted my heart at the same time was two days after I started at GV Patty came up to school and Bill said come here I want to introduce you to my bride. Everyday of his life she was his bride. I will truly miss your friendship Bill

You will be truly missed! I remember walking thru the halls at Garney Valley High School and Mr Manley always making us kids smile no matter what we were going thru! My prayers go out to his family and friends! May you rest at peace now with God!
