Obituary of Sandra Johnson Jefferis-Smolka

Sandra J. Jefferis-Smolka, age 77, of Wilmington, DE passed away on May 30, 2021 at Arden Courts of Wilmington, DE. Born to Paul Robert and Selma Lee Johnson in Lowell. Mass., Sandra was raised in Broad Brook, CT and for the last 45 plus years resided in Wilmington, DE. She was a dental receptionist and was a member of Chester Bethel United Methodist Church. Sandra was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, and traveling to the New England area, many times. She loved her dog "Milly" and time spent with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her late parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Neild, who passed at age 2, her second husband, William Jefferis, and her step-daughter Denise Jefferis. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Joseph A. Smolka; her daughter, Cynthia (Cy) Moreland; her son, Brian (Teri) Neild; her three grandchildren, Ryan and Sean Moreland, and Annabella Neild; her sister, Linda Reuter, and her step children, Brian, Lynn and Steven Jefferis.
