Obituary of Sara A. Holman

Sara A. Holman, age 86 of Ogden, PA died on August 29, 2016. Born to the late Robert & Martha Reese Howe, she was raised in Wilburton Number Two, PA. Sara has resided the past 2 years with her daughter in Swarthmore, PA. She previously resided for 60 years in Ogden, PA. A homemaker, Sara was devoted to her faith and a former member of Holy Saviour Catholic Church. Known and loved by many, Sara was always there to give a helping hand and she also served on the bereavement committee at the church. In addition, she belonged to the Lower Chichester Seniors Group. In her spare time, Sara enjoyed baking & cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband, John J. Holman Jr. who died in 2009 and 4 siblings, Luther, Jane, Irene & Roberta. Sara is survived by her twin daughters, Judy A. (Joe) Alessandrini & Joan E. (Ray) Touhill, and 3 grandchildren, Joey (Julie) Alessandrini, Jessica Touhill & Alissa Brooks. A viewing will be held on Friday morning, 9:15-10:15AM at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 1920 Providence Ave., Chester, PA followed by a funeral mass at 10:30AM.
