Obituary of William Kleinert

William "Bill" Kleinert, age 86 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away peacefully on August 1, 2021 at home. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Darby, PA, Bill resided the past 34 years in Garnet Valley, including 14 years in the Foxfield community. He previously resided in Pittsburgh for 3 years and 20 years in Drexel Hill, PA. Bill served in the U.S. Army Reserves and graduated from Eddystone Vocational School, Class of 1954. He was employed by Exxon for over 30 years. Afterwards, Bill enjoyed driving a school bus for Garnet Valley School District for 14 years, retiring in 2007. He was a longtime member of Siloam United Methodist Church. Bill was a F&AM Master Mason and a 25-year member of the Concord Lodge 625. He enjoyed reading, history, traveling and in his earlier years he enjoyed camping with his children. Most of all, Bill loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Charles and Marie Kleinert, Bill is preceded in death by 5 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Eileen Russell Kleinert, 2 sons; Bill (Susan) Kleinert and Craig A. (Carolyn) Kleinert Sr., brother in law, Richard Russell, and 3 grandchildren; Mallory Kleinert, Bill (Angela) Kleinert, Jr., and Craig A. (Allison) Kleinert, Jr. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, from 6-8PM with a Masonic Service at 7PM, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA as well as Friday, August 6, from 9:30-11AM followed by funeral services at 11AM.
