Obituary of Ruth Ann Moffett

Ruth Ann Moffett, age 79, of Norwood, PA, passed away on August 8, 2021 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. Born to James and Ruth Campbell McGinn in Bethel Township, PA, Ruth Ann was raised in Ridley Township and previously resided in Woodlyn, PA. Ruth Ann was a graduate of Ridley High School and worked as an Editor for Town Talk Newspaper, Secretary for Swarthmore College, and was the Counter Manager for her brother at Paul's Cleaner's for over 20 years. Devoted to her faith, Ruth Ann was a member of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church. In her leisure time, she enjoyed taking cruises and vacationing in Ocean City, MD. Ruth Ann loved spending time with family and was an avid cook for her family. In addition to her parents, Ruth Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Vernon Moffett, as well as her two brothers, James and Lenard McGinn. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Kurt) Sivak, twin sons, Ronald (Kimberly) Moffett and Robert (Kelly Ann) Moffett, brother, Paul (Patty) McGinn, and four grandchildren, R.J., Nathan, and Helena Moffett, and Kurt Sivak, Jr.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21, from 10-11AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA with a Funeral Liturgy to follow at 11AM.
