Obituary of Martha J. Liotta

Martha J. Liotta, age 85 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on September 11, 2021 at Maris Grove Senior Living Community with her family by her side. Born to Melvin and Claire Slagle Lucas in New Kensington, PA, she has resided in Glen Mills, PA since 2007, previously residing in Clifton Park, NY before moving to Whippany, NJ in 1968. There Martha was a Legal Assistant for Bell Atlantic Mobile, which ushered in the age of cellphones, before retiring in 1986 and ultimately moving to Southport, NC. In every community she lived, Martha was an active member of her local church, most recently as a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Chester, PA, and before that the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany. She served for many years as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, NY. In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Jasper Liotta. She is survived by her son: Alan (Katy) Liotta; daughter: Laura (Robert) Whitcher; 3 grandchildren: Jay, Christopher, Chadwick; and 2 great grandchildren: Benjamin, Liam. Services will be held at the Maris Grove Chapel at 1 pm on Wednesday 15 September. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Maris Grove Resident Care Fund.
