Obituary of Willard A. Sell

Willard A. Sell, age 89, of Wilmington, DE passed away on September 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Born to Milton P. and Ruth Zeigenfuss Sell in Sellersville, PA, Willard resided in the Feltonville section of Chester Township for over 60 years. He graduated from Media High School, Class of 1951. Willard was a chemical operator and retired from the Sartomer Company located in Essington and West Chester where he worked over 20 years. An Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, Willard was a member of the American Legion Post 926. He was a collector of license plates and American eagles. Willard always enjoyed the company of his Canine Buddy, Nick Foles, who passed in August. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Doris E. Murray Sell, brothers; George and Paul Sell, and a grandson, Michael Sell. Willard is survived by 3 sons; Thomas Sell, Ronald Sell, and Lawrence (Lisa) Sell, grandchildren; Matthew Sell, Dina Sell, and Ronald Sell Jr., Larry (Charnise) Sell Jr., Steven (Leighann) Sell, and Kyle McCusker, great grandchildren; Lillian, Rhiannon, Thomas, Micheal, Mikadin, Mikayla, and Ronald III, great great grandchildren; Isabella, and Isaiah, sisters; Peggy Sell Holden and Barbara Sell Faust, and brother, John Sell.
