Obituary of Dorothy C. Olszewski

Dorothy C. Olszewski, age 96 of Glen Mills, PA died on September 7, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia to the late Theodore & Caroline Witts Wegener, she has resided in Concord Twp. for the past 30 years and previously Chester. Dorothy retired from the Chester-Upland School District in 2006 where she drove a schoolbus for 30 years. Devoted to her faith, she was a parishioner at St. Joseph Church in Aston and formerly Resurrection Church in Chester. A devoted mom, she was actively involved in her children's school activities. She was also known for her skills as a seamstress making costumes for the Resurrection School Plays. She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Reds" Olszewski who died in 1981, a brother, Theodore Wegener & a sister, Teresa Ferrell. She is survived by 3 children, Joseph Olszewski, Carolyn McCloskey & James Olszewski, a brother, John Wegener, 5 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10:30AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA where friends may call from 9:15-10:15AM. Interment S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
