My mind still can not wrap itself around the loss of my only Nephew having left us so soon. When I think of him I think of him when he was a child. I remember John very well as a Flight Engineer and enjoyed the opportunity to fly with him on occasions a a crewmember. As Operations Chief I often scheduled him to fly or stand duty sometimes on the spur of the moment and he never once complained or refused. I shall remember him as an outstanding Sailor and a man I was proud to serve with. Fraternally: AWC Ralph Doudna VP4 1982-1986
