Obituary of Jean L. Rotteveel

Jean L. Rotteveel, age 73, of Chadds Ford, PA passed away on November 27, 2021 at Hospital of the University of Penn. Born to Joseph and Dorothy Glisson Horvath in Wilmington, DE, Jean has resided in Chadds Ford, PA for 48 years and previously West Goshen, PA. She worked as a seamstress out of her home and enjoyed bird watching from her property. Devoted to her faith, Jean was a member of St. Cornelius and would attend church on a regular basis. In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Horvath and Kathy Harvey. Jean is survived by her husband of 52 years, Simon J. Rotteveel, her three children; Joseph, Peter, and Jennifer Rotteveel, sister, Joanne Ross, and grandson, Nathan Rotteveel. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, from 10-11AM at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Rd, Chadds Ford, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM. Interment will be private.
