Obituary of Holt Michael Van Albert Sr.

Holt Michael Van Albert, Sr., age 81 of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away at Riddle Memorial Hospital on December 16, 2021. Born to the late James and Winifred Conklin Van Albert in Media, PA, Holt was raised in Media, previously of Aston, PA, and resided the last 3 years in Garnet Valley. After graduating high school, Holt earned his trade degree and worked for Chester Machine Shop, and later as a Journeyman Machinist for Sun Oil Gas Company. Devoted to his faith, Holt was an active member of Delaware Valley Christian Church in Middletown. In the 70's and 80's he volunteered as a christian counselor for the state and local prisons. Holt was a family man that always loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia Mae Van Albert, children, Holt Michael (Christine) Van Albert, Jr., and Traci Plunkett, brother, James (Nancy) Van Albert, and four grandchildren, Shannon Mae Kelly, Michael Alexander Plunkett, Ashley Elizabeth Van Albert, and Julia Alexis Van Albert.
