Obituary of Sue Ann Combes

Sue Ann Combes, age 82 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Rose Court in Maris Grove. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Freeport, NY to David and Dorothy Graves Heyman, Sue resided in Maris Grove for the past 8 years, previously residing most of her life in Long Island, NY. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic parish. Sue enjoyed sailing with her husband for many years. Sue was also an avid reader and had a passion for knitting. In addition to her late parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Frances Galer. Sue is survived by her husband, George D. Combes; two sons, George (Cynthia) Combes, Paul (Amy) Combes and daughter, Dorothy Hunter; 10 grandchildren, Dan, Ted, Jim, Peter, Bridget, Elise, Mitch, Andrew, Matthew and Maggie and four great grandchildren, Dylan, Leslie, Charlotte and Grayson. A memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at exactly 12PM at Maris Grove Chapel, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Memorial contributions in Sue's honor may be made to the Maris Grove Resident Care Fund, Maris Grove Office of Philanthropy, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Memo: "Resident Care Fund".
