Obituary of Bobbie R. Barone

Bobbie R. Barone, Age 86, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away peacefully on January 4, 2022 at her home. Born in Lordesberg, New Mexico, Bobbie has resided in Garnet Valley for the past 25 years. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a claims adjuster in the Life Insurance industry. Bobbie was a member of St. Cornelius Church in Chadds Ford, PA. In her pastime, she enjoyed needlework, reading, and watching lifetime movies. In addition to her parents, John C. & Mary Louise Webb Davis, Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, Cosmo M. Barone and 3 children, Jon Barone, Katherine Lawrence and a child who died as an infant, Druinda Burruel. Bobbie is survived by her 3 children, Millie Linett and husband, Fred, Mary Sturgis and Marlene Barone, a sister, Sue Montierth, goddaughter,  Ruth Ann “Angie” McCurry, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10-11AM at St. Cornelius Church, 160 Ridge Rd., Chadds Ford, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM. Interment will be held privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
