Obituary of Rosalie B. Celona

Rosalie "Roe" B. Celona, age 81 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on January 11, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born, raised and educated in Philadelphia, PA, Roe has resided the past 20 years in the Fox Hill Farm Community, Glen Mills, PA. She previously resided in Highland Park, Upper Darby, PA. Roe was a loving wife and mother dedicated to her family. She was devoted to her catholic faith and a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Chadds Ford, PA. Formally, an active member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Upper Darby, PA. Roe had a passion for the NJ shore, especially L.B.I. spending many summers at the beach. Roe was athletically talented and enjoyed playing various sports. Her favorite was golf and she also belonged to the ladies golf group at Fox Hill Farm. In her spare time, she also enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family. In addition to her parents, Paul and Mamie Raimondo Brisgone, Roe is preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Natale, and Paul Brisgone. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Emilio J. "Andy" Celona, daughters, Jacqueline (Michael) Cerritelli and Nicole (Daniel) Celona-Jacobs, grandchildren, Stephanie (Wes) Shope, Daniella (Andrew) Springer, Rosalie Cerritelli, Anna Bea and Benjamin Jacobs, great grandchildren, Isaiah and Estelle Shope, and her siblings, Anthony V. Brisgone and Mary (Charles) McGuigan. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19th from 10-11AM, at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Interment, S.S.
