Obituary of Gloria Ann Visconto

Gloria A. Visconto, age 84, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born to Francis and Agnes McClister McNeill in Philadelphia, PA, Gloria had recently moved to Wilmington, DE, previously residing in the Briarcliffe area of Glenolden, PA, and Collingdale, PA. Gloria had worked in her early years as a waitress, including employment at the House of Pagano's in Philadelphia and she was a long-time waitress at the Erin Pub in Norwood. Devoted to her faith, she was a former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Collingdale, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Secane, PA, and most recently attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington, DE. Gloria enjoyed her visits to the Casino. Above all else, Gloria loved spending time with her family, especially summer family vacations at the shore. In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony R. Visconto, and her beloved son, Michael F. Stillwell. She is survived by her five children, Carol (John) Receveur, Gloria (Tom) McAllister, Catherine (Mike) Garrity, Patricia Stillwell, and Joseph Stillwell; twelve grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
