We are all so blessed to have you, Uncle Donald. From a little girl, to a grown up...you were always there for me. Thank you for showing me unconditional love, even when I didn't deserve it. Thank you for always being a phone call away, to let me know I was loved by you.
I have so much respect and admiration for all who served for our country, including you. Jesus said, "No greater love does a man have than to lay down his life for his brethren." You sacrificed your time in Vietnam and over the years, you sacrificed your time to care for pop pop. Thank you is an understatement. It was destined for your birthday to be on Veteran's Day.
My best memories will always be our wonderful conversations that gave God glory. We were blessed to experience a type of deliverance some will never know and to embrace Jesus as our savior each and every day, always continuing to grow.
Our latter days turned out much greater than our former as were began living for the Lord. True freedom. The best gift anyone ever could of given us was leading us to the Lord so, I have peace in my heart knowing that your eternity is secured in Christ Jesus. Standing on the promises of the one true living God, I look forward to the day when he says, "Well Done, good and faithful servant." Until then, rest easy....see you at the resurrection of the saints. We are grafted in by His GRACE!
P.S. Thanks for bringing Aunt Alice into our family.
All good things work together for those that love the Lord and are called according to His purposes. Romans 8:28

Donald and I came to know each other, how else, caring for and feeding feral cats. He has been not only a helper, but both he and Alice became my friend over the past 10+ years. To say he loved cats is an understatement. His love for all animals gave his life meaning and purpose. Anyone who cares for those in need is a good soul. Not only will Donald be missed by his wife Alice, family and friends, but also by all who he cared for. You will be missed Donald. God bless your soul and rest in peace. Kathy Johnston

It's hard to believe my brother Donald is no longer with us. I don't have anyone now to talk to about working for our Father's Arco service station, Donald & I would reminisce those good old days.
You are missed,, Love you brother.
