Obituary of Madeline R. Brusco

Madeline R. Brusco, age 85 of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away on January 31, 2022 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, Madeline resided in Clifton Heights, and has lived the past 17 years in Upper Chichester, PA, with her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and John Sands, as well as her granddaughter, Alexis. A homemaker, Madeline graduated from Upper Darby High School, Class of 1955, and was a former member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Springfield. She enjoyed going to Atlantic City, Disney World with her family, and in her earlier years, she enjoyed going to the Brigantine beach house. In addition to her parents, Rosario and Louise Flagiello Giallombardo, Madeline is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Dominick A. Brusco, who passed in 2019, and her sister, Lena Aragona. She is survived by her 4 children, Denise (John) Sands, Louise Monroe, Madeline (Fran) Jordan, and Jimmy (Nancy) Lucidonio, 11 grandchildren, Jessica (Steve), Dana (Joe), Alexis, Jamie (James), Nick, Melissa, Joseph, Anthony, Jason, Christina and Jaclyn, as well as 9 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00AM.
