Ron was a personal friend at Maris Grove. Ron and I served together by distributing fliers for the Tuesday evening Bible group. When he began using an electric cart, I could not keep up with him. Both of us were retired from the US Air Force and often spoke about military experiences. Ron was proud to be an American. He would tell me about the Christian programs that he liked to watch instead of going to church. Sunday brunch in a Maris Grove dining room was one of his favorite meals. Sometimes we would share a table for four at brunch. I will miss this unique man.
