Obituary of Josephine C. White

Josephine C. White, age 98 of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away on February 11, 2022 at Truewood by Merrill, Glen Riddle. Born to Gincinto and Edith R. Flara in Chester, PA, Josephine resided over the past 40 years in Garnet Valley, PA, previously residing in Aston, PA. A homemaker, she loved reading, music, traveling and dancing with her husband of 60 years. Her greatest joy was family gatherings. She was a loving, caring, and giving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Devoted to her faith, she was a member of St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. White (2007), her son, John E. White (2021), and her daughter, Joan M. McCann (2014) and her brother, John M. Flara.. Josephine is survived by her daughter, Susan C. Tutlane and her fiancée, Len Dorbich, her sister, Jean M. Flara, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 20th from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment will be held on Monday, February 21st, 11AM, at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church Cemetery, Glen Mills, PA.
