Such a warm and gentle man. I worked with "Slim" for over 40 years and had many fun times and great conversations with him. One of my favorite times with him was teasing and calling him a Yankee from West Virginia as I was from Virginia. He would bring things in to work with the Confederate flag and I would ask him why? Your a Yankee!!! I visited with him and "J" on occasion at their home and they were such nice people. We would talk and go down memory lane about the old south and how we grew up with bare necessities etc. You will be missed my friend.

Gabriella and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sorrowful time.this summer will not be the same without seeing ‘dad’ at the mailbox or helping us eat extra tomato’s from our garden!
