Obituary of Pasquale F. Sardella

Pasquale F. "Sonny" Sardella, age 85 of Glen Mills, PA, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born to Joseph and Philomena Viscusco Sardella in Philadelphia, Sonny was raised in the Upper Swampoodle Section of Philadelphia. He resided the past 25 years in the Fox Hill Section of Concord Twp., previously residing in Havertown, PA. A graduate from North Catholic High School, Sonny received his Bachelors in Industry and Accounting from St. Joseph's University. An accountant by trade, Sonny was proud to become a Fellow of the Financial Hospital Management Association (FHMA). Devoted to his Catholic faith, Sonny was a member of St. Cornelius Church in Chadds Ford, PA, and a past member of St. Dorothy's Church in Drexel Hill, PA. He also was passionate about swimming and was an avid swimmer, visiting the Main Line Health Complex numerous times per week. An accomplished musician, he played multiple instruments including the guitar, piano and accordion. Sonny is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Nancy Sardella (nee) Loeffler, four devoted children; Joseph (Ann) Sardella, John (Karen) Sardella, Theresa Sardella, and Daniel Sardella, his loving grandchildren; Danielle (Russell) Weaverling, Mia and Anthony Sardella, Aubrey, Vanessa, and Jalen, Mikey, Andrew, Angie, and The Late Joey Sardella (2019), cherished great-grandchildren; Skylar, Bonnie, Max, and Cole, and close siblings, Louise (The Late Tommy) Press, Theresa (The Late Michael) Lacovara, and Nancy (Ray) Colaianni. Funeral services will remain private, and the interment will be held privately at S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
