Obituary of Elisabeth P. Reed

Elisabeth P. Reed, age 93 of Garnet Valley, PA died on October 19, 2016. Born in Germany, Elisabeth came to the U.S. at the age of 30 settling in Phila., PA.. She has resided in Bethel Twp. for the past 7 years previously residing in Newport Richie, Fl & Wilm., DE. A homemaker, Elisabeth was a talented woman, she spoke several languages including Italian, French, English & German. She was devoted to God, loved to sing, cared for others and was passionate about her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rigo & Greta Papsdorf, her husband, George R. Reed who died in 1999 and 2 sisters, Ruth & Anna. She is survived by 2 sons, Gregory Reed & Jeffrey (Susan) Reed and 2 daughters, Ruth (Ed) Tirado & Carol (Ted) Madonna, sister Frances Clausing and 3 grandchildren, Michelle, Michael & Brian (Katie) Madonna. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 10-11AM. Interment, Florida National Veterans Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
