From the day we moved in across the street, you welcomed us with open arms. I didn’t realize it at the time, but over the years I quickly grew to understand. I moved in next door to my grandma. I will forever cherish my memories with you; our time spent gardening to our living room conversations to your famous meatballs. I can’t help but think of you every time I’m watering the flowers and working in the garden. I hope to pass on your love of gardening to my daughters. I am so grateful one of my daughters was able to meet you. Mrs. Lyster, you are so very special to me and you will always hold a special place in my heart. I look forward to hearing your cheerful voice again someday. We love you and miss you.
