Obituary of James C. Hallman Jr.

James C. Hallman Jr. (Jim), age 58, of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on August 3, 2022 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Bryn Mawr, PA, Jim resided in Upper Chichester for 30 years, previously residing in Lower Chichester, PA. He graduated from Haverford High School, Class of 1982 and attended Marple VoTech where he achieved his license as an Industrial Electrician. He worked as both a Project Manager and Master Electrician at Lenni Electric Corporation for 31 years. Jim was a member of Holy Savior Catholic Church. He was a volunteer firefighter at Bryn Mawr Fire co., Lower Chichester Fire Co., and Boothwyn Fire House where he served as Vice President and Treasurer at one time. He enjoyed working, fishing, outdoor cooking, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Jim was infinitely famous for always being late and as most would know, there is always time for a shower. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Attracta (Harkins) Hallman, and is survived by his loving wife, Lisa (Blickley) Hallman, children; Jennifer (David) Jones and James (Stephanie) Hallman III, grandchildren; Madisyn Jones, Emilie Jones, and Charlotte Hallman, brother; John Hallman; sister-in-law Christine D. Hallman, nieces Gina Hallman, and Julia Hallman as well as other nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Jim's last words " this is not good-bye, this is see you later". A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 10, from 6-8PM followed by a funeral liturgy at 8PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America (www.curesarcoma.org).
