Obituary of Edmond D. Costantini, Sr.

Costantini, Edmond D., Sr., of Broomall, PA, one day shy of his 99th birthday on August 21, 2022 passed away peacefully surrounded by his devoted family while listening to Frank Sinatra ballads. Beloved husband of 58 years to the late Rose F. (nee Rizzo) who died in 2006. Born and raised in South Philadelphia of immigrant parents, he was a US Army Sergeant serving 2 years overseas in the WWII European Theater with the 12th Army Group. He received his associate degree in Accounting from the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor Degree in Business from LaSalle. Ed was a longtime resident of Broomall where he and his wife, Rose raised their family. He was devoted to his Catholic faith and a member of St. Pius X RC Church. He also was a member of the American War Veterans. An avid golfer, Ed was a longtime member of the Edgmont Country Club. He is the devoted father of Lois Sabatina-Smith (Steven), Debra Tomassetti (Edward), Edmond Costantini, Jr. (Patricia) and Frank Costantini, brother of the late Dorothy Mulherrin and the late Fernand "Fred" Costantini. Proud and loving grandfather of Laura, Mikey, Lisa, Edmond III, Nicholas, JD, and Anthony. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, August 26th at St. Pius X RC Church from 9:30am-10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment at S.S.
